Request Account Deletion – MyHealthFriend (MHF)
You can permanently delete your MyHealthFriend account and all associated personal data at any time, either directly from the app or by sending a manual request. This page explains both options, what data is deleted, and which data may be retained for legal or technical reasons.
Option 1 – Delete your account directly in the app
- Open the MyHealthFriend app on your device.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- Confirm your decision.
Once confirmed, your account will be permanently deleted, and all personal data will be erased from our servers within 30 days, in line with GDPR and applicable regulations. You will be automatically logged out once the deletion request is submitted.
Option 2 – Request account deletion by email
- Send an email to dpo@myhealthfriend.eu from the same email address linked to your MyHealthFriend account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request – MyHealthFriend.
- Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What happens to your data
Data deleted: Your account details (name, email, preferences), wellness and activity data, and identifiable usage logs are permanently deleted.
Data temporarily retained: We may keep minimal anonymized technical records required for security, legal compliance, or statistical analysis. These are stored for a maximum of 12 months before being permanently deleted. These records cannot be used to identify you.
